Expert Boiler Installation in New Jersey

Boiler installation is one of the most consequential heating decisions a homeowner in Morris, Union, or Somerset County can make. At Carmine P Aumenta & Sons Plumbing & Heating Inc., we handle the full scope of the job: in-home assessment, correct system sizing, old equipment removal, new boiler connection to your heating zones and hot water supply, venting, and post-installation testing. Many homes across Mendham, Bernardsville, Basking Ridge, and Morristown were built with radiant or steam heating systems. Those homes need a contractor who understands how older piping layouts and multi-zone configurations affect the right boiler choice. We size every system to match your home's square footage, fuel type, and zone count. Proper sizing prevents uneven heat, short cycling, and premature wear. After installation, we walk you through controls, thermostat settings, and routine maintenance steps. If your current boiler is aging, running up repair bills, or struggling to heat your home evenly, call us to schedule an assessment.

Boiler Installation FAQ

Common questions about boiler installation in New Jersey.

A boiler that needs frequent repairs, runs unevenly, or is more than 15 years old is often a strong candidate for replacement rather than another fix. We assess your system in person and give you a straight answer on which option makes sense for your home.

Yes, we work with steam and hot water boiler systems, including the older configurations common in homes across Bernardsville, Mendham, and Basking Ridge. Steam systems require specific sizing and piping knowledge, and our team has hands-on experience with both.

We assess your home's heating zones, remove the old unit, install and connect the new boiler to your existing piping and venting, and test pressure and heat distribution before we leave. Every installation follows current New Jersey code requirements.

Yes, multi-zone homes are a common installation type throughout Somerset County, and we size and configure the new system to serve each zone correctly. Proper zoning setup is part of every installation we complete.

Yes, Carmine P Aumenta & Sons serves homeowners across Hudson County communities including Hoboken, Jersey City, and Bayonne, as well as Union County towns like Cranford, Westfield, and Scotch Plains. Call us to confirm service availability for your address.

After installation, we test system pressure, verify heat distribution across all zones, and confirm all safety controls are working correctly. We also walk you through thermostat operation and basic maintenance steps before we leave.

My family has called on Aumenta Plumbing for years! And they have always provide excellent service. In June, we had to have a toilet replaced and a kitchen faucet installed. They discovered during the toilet replacement, that one of our old pipes had been decaying. They were able to include that repair on the same day. Then more recently, we needed our bathtub unclogged and they came right away. My family and I are so glad that Carmine's sons have continued the business and the level of service quality that their father provided. Highly recommend!

As the owner of a historic single family home in Jersey City, since 2014, I have turned to Ben and his family for all my plumbing needs— from boiler maintenance to major work and even emergencies. This family run business has always been there with top quality work and professionalism. I highly recommend Aumenta.

Ben Aumenta handled our job, everything with our hot water heather replacement job was quick and clear. We had an issue with the exhaust pipe on our previous hot water heater so Ben made sure he could fit us in asap to replace the whole set up. He also noticed that the condensation pipe from our HVAC system was dropped on an angle that would make draining difficult and he propped it up for us even though we hadn't hired him for the HVAC. Great attention to detail and care for the customer, we're really happy. Communication from Aumenta was excellent - email and text notifications when the estimate was scheduled as well as when the install was happening, so we always knew what to expect. We'd definitely recommend them!

Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish! From the very first call, the receptionist was professional, prompt, and genuinely sweet. She made what could have been a stressful situation feel completely effortless. Even though we called last minute, they kindly squeezed us into their schedule and were true to their word on the arrival time. Our plumber from Carmine P. Aumenta & Sons Plumbing-Heating was an absolute pleasure — kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. He got the job done quickly while making us feel completely at ease. This is exactly how a family business should operate: with warmth, expertise, and total reliability. They are most certainly making their late father proud. We will happily call Carmine P. Aumenta & Sons for any future plumbing or heating needs. Highly, highly recommend!

My sister recommended Aumenra Plumbing to me last year. I had them come and replace my hot water heater and repair an issue with my furnace. They were efficient and reasonably priced. I called them this year to replace the connection for my garden hose and then to add a water line for my washing machine. I am more than pleased with their work and recommend them highly.
